Openings include high school math and science with special education background and experience. Eligibility for Maine certification in special education (282) and MEDOE CHRC required. Responsibilities of the position include:
Providing fun , dynamic instruction based on each student’s needs and learning style
Student centered teaching
Passion for experiencial, multi sensory teaching
Attend IEP meetings as needed
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Maintaining communication records
Interacting with families
Following the specific steps of the programs taught as designated by the school
Work independently and with a team
