Title: Accounting/Accounting Assistant/Accounting Clerk/Entry Level Accounting

Duration: 6+ Months
Working Model: hybrid role onsite 3 days per week
Schedule: 7AM-4PM or 8 AM-5 PM
Job Summary:
This person will be responsible for providing administrative / basic accounting related support to the Investment Operations team with Eagle Asset Management.
Duties:
Assist with data entry as it relates to reconciling accounts
Maintain data integrity
Maintain / update reports using Microsoft Excel
Assists in preparing, reviewing, processing and maintaining accounting documents, records and files.
Assists in coding and posting transactions to proper accounts in an automated accounting system.
Assists in researching transaction discrepancies.
Assists in gathering and compiling data for assigned functions.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The manager is looking for entry level candidates!
Please focus on candidates that have less than 3-4 years of work experience; ideally someone who recently graduated college and is looking to start their career.
He is also open to candidates who do not have a degree, but may have some schooling and a year or two working in an office.
He is looking for candidates who want to get their foot in the door within the financial services industry.
Basic to intermediate Excel skills - ability to perform data entry into an Excel spreadsheet
Fluent user with Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of, and able to apply, mathematical concepts; comfortable with "crunching numbers"
