Job Summary The Associate Producer for CBS Sports Network will be expected to produce tape elements at a high level for any given live and/or taped studio show. The Associate Producer must work well within a team environment and exhibit a level of accountability while maintaining the vision of the greater product. It is essential that the Associate Producer exhibit a level of professionalism and expertise while completing all tasks.
A successful edit AP at CBS Sports Network must love sports, storytelling and creativity while possessing an acute desire for accuracy and precision across all of their work.
Responsibilities - Overseeing the production of sound packages, highlight packages, teases, and bumpers
- Working with the Highlight Supervisor daily while assisting in management of tasks
- Assisting Broadcast Associates with workflow and quality control of elements
- Communication with show producers whenever necessary
Requirements - Extensive knowledge and passion for sports.
- Minimum of three-years experience in television production with specific expertise in video production.
- Required to work non-traditional business days/hours (nights and weekends).
- Occasional travel to cover prominent sporting events will be required. (Final Four, Super Bowl, Army-Navy, etc.)
- Highly proactive and organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Strong communication and written skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional can do approach at all times.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required.

CBS Sports Digital's multi-platform offerings include CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports apps for mobile and connected TV devices; the 24/7 streaming sports news network CBS Sports HQ; 247Sports; MaxPreps; CBS Sports fantasy games; and SportsLine.
Additional Information Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 70,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
