Job Summary: Classic Ford - Smithfield is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. This full-time, hourly position will require a dedicated and experienced individual to perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles in our dealership in Smithfield, North Carolina. Pay range of $20 to $45 per hour, depending on experience
Hourly wage paid semi-monthly

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
Perform complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance
Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and certifications

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
ASE certification preferred
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
