About the Role

The Bilingual Trainer will be preparing, instructing, and guiding election judges and staff during the election cycle. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all personnel receive accurate and accessible training in accordance with Elections requirements. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish and is comfortable presenting information to diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, updating, and refining training curriculum, including adapting materials for bilingual learners.

• Deliver training sessions following the approved curriculum.

• Train individuals hired in both English and Spanish when needed.

• Conduct election judge and staff training sessions in accordance with standards.

• Provide language assistance or interpretation during training to ensure understanding among multilingual participants.

• Translate or help clarify training materials, handouts, and instructions as needed.

• Submit incident documentation using the approved reporting format.

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish.

• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly in both languages.

• Ability to train diverse groups with varying levels of experience and language proficiency.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow approved curriculum and state guidelines.

• Ability to travel to various training sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in training, teaching, or leading instructional sessions.

• Experience supporting bilingual or multilingual audiences.

• Familiarity with election operations or government training environments.
