Drive the company’s financial strategy, including operational planning, strategic fundraising, debt and other capital management.
Integrate into the existing Executive leadership team, providing strategic insights and foresight into long term planning.
Provide analysis of company performance and other complex situations to CEO and the Board of Directors
Help navigate expansion of the organization, in both size and complexity across the US and worldwide.
Lead and manage the finance, accounting, and legal teams.
Collaborate with other executives to develop and implement the company’s overall business strategy and ensure financial sustainability
Analyze and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, lenders, and vendors, to manage financial risk and secure funding as needed
Ensure financial policies and procedures are in place driving an organization to successfully scale, promoting transparency and accountability
Control and evaluate the company’s fundraising plans and capital structure
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company’s operations
Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
Ensure financial compliance with all regulatory and commercial requirements
10+ years of senior financial leadership experience ideally in hardware or robotics startups, with additional experience in SaaS or consumer marketplaces preferred.
2+ years as CFO or VP of Finance ideally for a publicly traded company, including IPO preparation and execution experience.
Strong background in finance and strategy for hardware companies, with solid understanding of GAAP.
Successful track record of fundraising for growth startups.
Scientific//technical competencies enabling effective collaboration with R&D efforts.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
International expansion experience (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
Track record of successfully partnering with banks and other debt providers to secure and manage various forms of credit facilities and loans to support Aescape’s growth and operations.
Experience in medical device industries or other highly regulated environments, and meeting strict financial compliance standards.
