Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Facility Construction Inspector to join our team in Orange and Rockland counties, New York. The ideal candidate will oversee the construction and maintenance of gas and electric facilities, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a great opportunity to participate in rebuilding our Energy Infrastructure! No per diem is available as this is a lower-cost-of-living region. Responsibilities:

• Inspect the construction projects for gas and electric facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience with excavation, concrete, civil construction required.
• Experience in gas and electric facility construction is preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA 30 and 10 certifications are preferred.
