Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support our Cyber Mission business unit located in Annapolis Junction, MD. Peraton supports multiple products that automate manual tasks so that mission customers can focus on more complex issues. The team employs Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to ensure that high-quality, reliable software is delivered to the customer. The position is to be performed at contractor facility which allows for flexible work schedules. In addition, the opportunity for teleworking is available based on tasking and customer approval.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in software development or engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
Experience with Java, including Spring and JUnit frameworks
Experience using Git and GitLab for source control and collaboration
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited college or university is highly desired and may be substituted for two (2) years of experience. Acceptable technical fields include Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar disciplines

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
