As a CNC Turning/Milling set up and production operator at your focus will be to:

• Set Up Operate CNC milling machinery
• Familiar with Macro programming.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
• Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select insert types, and check tools for accuracy.
• Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
• Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool adjustments.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months – 1-year related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Willing to complete a blueprint reading course.
