And we are growing! **The Role** Our BANKING & FINANCIAL SERVICES CONSULTING PRACTICE group is looking for a **Consulting Manager** to join our journey. This role requires cross border payments experience The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in handling various payment rails, including Wire, Swift ACH, cross border payments, remittances, Visa Direct . This role requires a deep understanding of payment regulations, middle and back-office functions, fraud prevention, ISO standards, and payment modernization practices. As a Consulting Manager, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Apply now! **Responsibilities** + Oversee end-to-end payment processing across multiple rails, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Led the implementation and optimization of Wire, Swift cross border payments, remittances, Visa Direct payment systems. + Collaborated with internal teams to design and deploy robust payment processing solutions. + Stay abreast of current and emerging payment regulations and ensure all processes adhere to compliance requirements. + Good understanding of middle office and back office operations to streamline payment processing workflows. + Understanding comprehensive fraud prevention strategies to safeguard payment processing systems. + Collaborate with the risk management team to develop and refine risk mitigation protocols. + Led initiatives to modernize payment systems and processes, incorporating the latest technologies and methodologies. + Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payment processing. + Leverage specific engagement solutions as marketable Cognizant solution offerings. + Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership, establishing a consultative presence within Cognizant and the wider consulting community, and participating in professional organizations. **Qualifications** + 8+ years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within the Banking & Financial Services industry. + Bachelor's or Master's (Master's preferred) degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in payment processing, with a focus on core payment rails. + Proven experience in managing middle office and back office functions. + Strong knowledge of payment regulations and compliance requirements. + Experience in fraud prevention and risk management. + Familiarity with ISO standards and payment modernization practices. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Familiarity with industry-standard payment platforms and protocols. + Proficiency in using financial software and tools for payment processing and reporting. + Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the payment industry. + Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. + Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes **Work Authorization** + Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
