Summary:
We are seeking a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging for inpatient and emergency department (ED) care. This role is critical for weekend CT coverage and requires proficiency with GE scanners . Ideal for technologists with strong trauma experience and comfort operating independently during high-volume shifts.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging for adult acute, emergency, ICU, and outpatient patients
Process and review images for quality assurance using GE scanners and PACS systems
Support special imaging procedures including biopsies, drainages, CTA, and perfusion studies (preferred)
Administer IV contrast safely and follow radiation protection guidelines
Maintain detailed, accurate documentation within Epic or similar charting systems
Provide weekend imaging support in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Participate in a week of on-call coverage as scheduled
Key Requirements:
Must be comfortable working independently in inpatient and ED settings
Must have strong experience with GE CT scanners
Ability to work weekends and one on-call week during contract
No floating between units required
First-time travelers accepted
Pending state license accepted
Ratio: 1:1 imaging
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT Imaging program
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of CT experience
Experience with inpatient and ED imaging preferred
No prior travel experience required
License & Certifications (Required):
BLS (AHA)
ARRT (CT)
State Radiology License (pending accepted)

Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
3D rendering: MIP, SSD, Volume Rendering

Chest & Heart: calcium scoring, pulmonary embolism, aorta CTA
Spine & MSK: cervical, thoracic, lumbar, trauma

Special Procedures: aspirations, biopsies, myelography, colonography*, coronary CTA*, CT arthrography*, drainage*, brain perfusion*
