About Boston Legacy FC Boston Legacy FC (the “Club”) is Boston’s new professional women’s soccer team, set to begin play in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2026. The Role Boston Legacy FC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Data Science Intern, Soccer Analytics to join our team to support player modeling and data analysis. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Analytics department to develop data-driven insights that support coaching, scouting, and performance strategy. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports analytics, contributing directly to the decision-making process of a professional soccer organization. Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance player performance models using statistical and machine learning methods
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean and process data from a variety of soccer specific sources.
• Partner with analytics team members to deliver insights that inform sporting operations

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of statistical and/or machine learning modeling techniques Experience with sports analytics - through internships, research projects, or independent work - is preferred
• Familiarity with soccer metrics and performance analysis tools is a plus
