Job Duties

• Dishwashing - Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in dish racks to send through the dish machine. Sort and stack clean dishes, transport clean dishes to proper storage areas. Washes dishes, pots and pans by hand as needed following the correct order of wash, rinse and sanitize. Properly clean the dish machine following the proper procedure. Sweep and mop storage, and dish area floors throughout the shift. Dispose of the trash in the dumpster.
• Bussing Tables - Ensure that empty tables are ready to receive new guest. When a party departs, bussers remove dirty dishes, sanitize the table, clean the seats and if necessary, sweep or vacuum the surrounding floor and reset the table for service. Bussers will assist server by helping with drink refills for guests or delivering trays of food to the table. Emptying trash containers, refilling ice bins, carrying of bus tubs to dish tank and performing general cleaning chores. Maintain cleanliness in front and back of the house. Perform other duties as assigned.
  
   

Minimum Qualifications 

• Less than 2 years related experience
• Less than high school diploma
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work weeknight, weekends and holidays
• Per 8-hour shift. Stand 8 hours. Typical restaurant environment (low noise level, limited exposure hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, grease, wet floors, and vibrations). Regular interaction with others and performs a degree of independent work. Continuously lifts up to 10 pounds. Frequently lifts 11 to 20 pounds. Occasionally lifts 31 to 40 pounds. Infrequently lifts 51 to 100 pounds. Continuously grasp/grip (whole hand) and pinch grasp (hold item between index finger & thumb). Frequently bend/stoop/twist (greater than 30°), climb stairs, and work above chest level. Occasionally bend/stoop/twist (greater than 90°), reach below knee level, and power pinch grasp (hold item between index finger & thumb and unable to pull item from grasp). Infrequently squat/kneel/crawl, climb ladders/scaffolds, torque (twisting force to rotate), and work with arm outstretched (elbows locked).

• Detail oriented, patient, and conscientious. 
• Able to follow established processes and procedures very closely.
• Able to make decisions cautiously and communicate in a factual, polite, and professional manner.
