Job Description

Environmental Specialist needs 3-5 years' experience
Environmental Specialist requires:
-ASP, CSP or COSHO preferred.
-RCRA, SWP3, PSM, Tier II, Form R, SPCC, Wastewater Discharge permitting and compliance.
-Degree in Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety required.
Environmental Specialist duties:
-Engage the entire work force both salary and hourly to drive cultural change and accomplishing environmental performance objectives and targets.
-Ensure environmental compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements and corporate environmental systems and act as the lead contact with regulatory agencies.
-Perform incident investigations for any type of adverse environmental impact, using a formal process with the focus on root cause, corrective and preventive actions and verification.
-Provide effective training for all environmental programs including but not limited to SWP3, (Storm Water Pollution & Prevention Plan), SPCC (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure), RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act).
