Location: Dallas, TexasJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $35 - 40 per hourOur client, a leading non-profit hospital, is seeking a talented Freelance Sports Medicine Writer to support their content initiatives for a new, sports-focused Instagram channel. This is a remote contract opportunity for a creative and knowledgeable writer who can translate complex medical information into engaging, audience-friendly content.We're looking for a talented Sports Medicine Content Writer to join our team! You'll be responsible for crafting engaging and informative blog posts and social media content for our new sports-focused Instagram channel. If you have a passion for sports medicine and a knack for creating compelling content, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities: Research, write, and edit original blogs and social media content focused on sports medicine topics. Develop creative and concise social media content for Instagram, including captions, stories, and other engaging formats. Ensure all content is accurate, evidence-based, and adheres to our brand voice. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in sports medicine. Translate medical and clinical concepts into clear, engaging language tailored for a public audience. Develop weekly content aligned with the hospital's brand and communication goals. Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and social media teams to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness. Monitor trends in sports medicine and social media to keep content timely and relevant. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience writing in medical, health, or wellness-related fields. Proven experience creating content for blogs and social media platforms, especially Instagram. Strong understanding of sports medicine topics and terminology. Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills. Ability to adapt tone and messaging for various audiences. Experience working independently and managing deadlines in a remote environment.
