Job Title: Heavy Duty Technician

Location: Rusiniak's Service Inc. 2210 Old Union Rd Cheektowaga, NY 14227

Position Type: Full-time

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy duty vehicles and equipment such as trucks, buses, trailers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• - Perform diagnostic tests on heavy duty vehicles and equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions
• - Repair or replace faulty parts as needed
• - Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments
• - Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
• - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• - Repair vehicles over the road and in the shop

Qualifications:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy duty technician
• - Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• - DOT Physical
• - Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
