Position Summary

We're looking for a  seasoned Maintenance Technician (6+ years experience)to take ownership of our maintenance program in the Southwest Florida market. You'll perform scheduled system tune-ups, educate customers on how to protect their investment, and recommend upgrades that make sense, like UV lights, soft start kits, or surge protectors.

Our Lehigh Acres office team handles dispatch, scheduling, and parts so you can focus on delivering excellent service and converting opportunities on the spot when it benefits the customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC maintenance and inspections for residential customers.
• Identify potential issues early and recommend solutions that prevent costly repairs.
• Educate homeowners on their system's condition and the benefits of enhancements such as UV lights, surge protection, and soft start kits.
• Deliver honest, education-based recommendations to improve efficiency and comfort.
• Accurately complete Rocket Cooling's maintenance forms in ServiceTitan to document findings, maintain detailed system history, and provide customers with clear insight into their system's performance.
• Keep vehicles and tools clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Support the team with occasional repair or installation assistance as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service when scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of HVAC experience, with strong maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and earn homeowner trust.
• Solid understanding of system performance, cleaning, and preventative maintenance best practices.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• EPA certification and trade school training preferred.
