Job Description

**Purpose and Scope:** Under general direction responsible for HVAC / Refrigeration Mechanics, Technicians, Electricians, Sheetmetal/Light Steel Fabrication, Water Treatment Specialists, and UCS Technicians. **Essential Responsibilities:** 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers. 2) Plans and schedules for completion of job assignments. 3) Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers and assigns duties using knowledge of capacities of workers and equipment. 4) Ensures productivity and makes changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop. 5) Coordinate with other trades. 6) Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers when necessary in solving work problems, including troubleshooting of all HVAC equipment. 7) Enforces Company policies and safety regulations. 8) Recommends and initiates personnel action requests including promotions, transfers, terminations, hires and disciplinary measures. 9) Confers with workers and representatives to resolve grievances in first stages. 10) Assists in training of new workers. 11) Assigns overtime and weekend duty. 12) Attends scheduling meetings and is responsible for all reports.
