Role:
A local container products manufacturer is seeking a qualified maintenance/machine shop Mechanic Trainee. They will train in the areas of industrial maintenance and machine work, as well as all other aspects of industrial and commercial maintenance. The basic mechanical and technical skills preferred are as follows.
Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical and technical problem-solving skills.
2. Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4 . Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
5. Read technical manuals.
6. Disassemble & reassemble parts and machinery.
7. Clean and lubricate machinery.
8. Ability to take instructions and work well with others.
9. Willingness to cross trade lines, machining, mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical, Etc.
