A Program Administrator, Early Childhood Education is responsible to the County
Superintendent and works under the direct supervision of the designated administrator.
Manages and organizes the child care and development programs and services of the Placer County Office of Education (PCOE), ensuring that the programs and services are provided in an efficient manner and in conformance with county, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines. This is a certificated management position.
**This position is grant funded which is renewed under the provisions of the grantor of the contract. The current grant is funded through June 30th, 2026. Your position, therefore, is contingent upon continuation of funding of these grants and satisfactory job performance.**
* Must possess a valid California driver's license issued by the State department of Motor Vehicles.
* Must possess one of the following: a valid California Child Development Program Director Permit or valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for a California Administrative Services Credential.
* An AA Degree in early childhood education or related field is required.
* A Bachelor's degree in child development, education or related field is preferred.
* A Master 's Degree in child development , education or related field from an accredited university of college is preferred.
* Three years of increasingly responsible experience in administration of child care and development programs including supervision of staff is required.
