Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote (Based in NY Preferred)
Duration: 5 Months (Contract)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team focused on site reliability engineering and advanced platform automation. This role will serve as the top escalation point, lead design and architecture discussions, and contribute to maintaining and enhancing automation services critical to stability, scalability, and security.
This position plays a key role in transforming and modernizing infrastructure services to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Configure and manage HA JFrog High Availability environments.
Synchronize ElasticSearch non-prod environments with production , including resolution of authentication and drift issues.
Manage and resolve IaC drift in ElasticSearch and JFrog environments across both production and non-production.
Perform core platform engineering tasks including:
Code updates
Platform service updates
New service deployments
Bug resolution and feature delivery
Lead design sessions and guide DevOps Engineers on best practices and task execution.
12+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform (including module development and state management).
Proven experience with one or more cloud providers ( AWS, Azure, GCP ).
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
Experience with:
JFrog Artifactory , including HA setups
ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Ansible for automation and configuration management
OpenShift experience
Advanced Elasticsearch capabilities
Ansible Automation Platform
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), storage, and networking
NSX-T and VMware vSphere experience
Logstash filter creation
Kafka deployment and support
Project management background
Experience with large-scale data processing and pipeline management
