The Vehicle/Generator Mechanic is responsible for the operation and inspection, repair, assessing, diagnosing, and maintaining the main generators and fuel distribution system, the portable generators, engines, and auxiliaries. This position requires skills in repairing and installing automatic as well as manual switch gears, maintaining generators in terms of refueling, cleaning, and changing the filter, and changing oil. The Vehicle/Generator Mechanic must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to solve problems, make decisions, being able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. Clear communication both verbal and written is of the utmost importance along with compliance to all Company policies and a safety-first culture.
