This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position aligned with school district calendars, with immediate start dates based on available placement opportunities after completing the application process and training.

Responsibilities:
Select Assignments: Access our educator portal and choose the teaching opportunities that align with your certification.
Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Inspire creativity and enthusiasm in a virtual classroom setting.
Engage and Connect with Students: Develop strategies to maintain student engagement, build relationships, and support individual learning styles.
Plan Lessons: Create detailed lesson plans that align with class curriculum and promote student success.
Track Progress: Monitor and record student grades, performance, and overall progress.
Requirements:
Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Certification: Valid New York State public professional teaching certification in any core NYS subject (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or World Languages) for Middle or High School.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Technology Requirements: A laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
Additional Steps: Participation in a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration and submission of a background check are required during the application process.
Experience: Prior online teaching experience is a plus but not required.
