Reports to: High School Principal

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

School Counselor for grades 7-12. This position reports to the 7-12 Principal in providing support to staff and students. The job encompasses building relationships, guiding students and working with staff towards a successful student graduation and beyond. Some tasks include classroom counselor instruction; class scheduling; dual credit supervision; On-To-College (OTC) promotion, training sessions and class alignment; student progress monitoring; student assistance team (SAT) coordinator; After School Study Hall coordinator; one on one counseling; class registration parent meetings; etc.

Education and Experience
School counseling certification is required or in pursuit.
