About the Role

As a key member of our Platform team, the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS. This role involves developing Infrastructure as Code to automate deployment processes, ensuring efficient and consistent environment setups. The engineer will apply DevOps principles to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid and stable delivery of client products and internal projects. Collaboration with security and audit teams is essential to ensure compliance and security standards are integrated from the outset. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the organization’s growth by building robust infrastructure solutions, fostering an agile culture, and supporting engineering teams in deploying high-quality applications across distributed environments.

Responsibility

• Operation and delivery of client AWS infrastructure
• Building and migrating applications, software, and services onto AWS
• Implementing scalable, observable, and reliable infrastructure services as standard practices
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Serverless Framework
• Bootstrapping new projects' CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery timelines
• Supporting platform operations including monitoring, alerting, and notifications
• Collaborating with security and audit teams to ensure compliance and security from day one
• Fostering an agile, DevOps-driven culture to ensure predictable and stable product delivery
• Unblocking development teams by troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related obstacles

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing AWS services in distributed environments
• 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, networking, and database design
• Experience with container deployment (ECS/EKS)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Serverless Framework
• Background in software engineering with knowledge of programming languages like Node.js, Python, C#, or Java
• Experience managing observability, alerting, and platform operations
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
