• BSA Health System is the fourth largest employer in Amarillo, with a medical staff of more than 400 physicians and 3,000 employees. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity.

• The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for Credentialing and Privileging of assigned practitioners for BSA Health System including ADC Endoscopy, BSA Hospital, BSA Provider Network, and Physicians Surgical Hospitals to ensure that all compliance and regulatory standards are met.
• The Specialist performs general to advanced clerical duties utilizing Microsoft Office software and specialized computer applications.
• Makes recommendations, revisions, or corrections as needed and completes assignments in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Have taken some college classes.
• 2-3 years credentialing experience in hospital or managed care setting.
• NAMSS Certification (either CPCS and/or CPMSM).
