Custodians are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across classrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces. This role ensures the health and safety of children, families, and staff by following daily cleaning protocols in alignment with licensing and public health requirements.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience, especially in a child care or school setting, is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor (e.g., standing, walking, bending).
• Must pass a background check and health clearance (including TB test).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and cleaning routines.
