Summary of the Job:
The Custodian/Laundry worker is responsible for multiple tasks ranging from washing and folding laundry items to keeping buildings clean and in orderly condition. The Custodian/Laundry worker maintains cleanliness in compliance with agency and health standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment.
• Sorting linens, towels, clothing by client.
• Washing items following proper sanitation protocols.
• Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors.
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
• Dusting restaurant furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Scrubbing, sanitizing, and supplying restroom facilities.
• Utilize personal safety plan for managing emotions and interactions with staff and clients.
• Represent agency favorably at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED and one or more years of full-timeexperience previously required to perform tasks assigned or successful completion of a formal training curriculum from a technical college or school pertaining to skills need to perform tasks assigned.
• Adequate training or experience to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform duties assigned.
• Physical health to perform tasks assigned, occasionally lift/carry parcels up to 50 pounds.
• Should be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Display the motivation and desire to learn and develop advanced skills.
