We are currently seeking a Data Center Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
This position is on-site at the client's office in Buffalo, NY.
Job Responsibilities Include:
* Data Center’s single point of contact for incoming calls and group email.
* Interacts with multiple ticketing systems in order to organize the teams daily Change Board and workflow.
* Verifies that all visitors to the Data Center floor meet NTT’s Access Requirements.
* Escorts vendors to the Data Center Floor.
* Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management.
* Backup Tape Handling.
* Basic hardware support.
* Intermediate hardware (break/fix), troubleshooting ethernet connectivity issues and replacement of hardware components.
* Installation / De-installation of hardware, cabling and maintaining of database.
* Attend and participate in meetings and planning session as required.
* Other duties as directed that support world class management of the Data Center.
Basic Qualifications:
*1+ years of Data Center Ops experience
*Must have a covid shot and annual flu shot
*Must have a car and a valid license
Desired Skills:
* Positive attitude.
* Flexibility and team oriented.
* Ability to conduct clear and effective two-way communication, verbal and electronic, with team members, vendors and customers (Internal and External).
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to type 25 wpm.
* Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
* Technical experience, technical aptitude or A+ Certification is a plus.
* Solid time-management and organizational skills.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Detail oriented.
* Time management.
