**Job Title: HVAC Service Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians for residential service work. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems. + Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components. + Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes. + Communicate effectively with customers and provide clear explanations of work performed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in HVAC service and repair. + EPA Section 608 Certification (mandatory). + Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC experience. + Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and customer service abilities. + Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules. + Commitment to safety and compliance with local codes. + Professional demeanor and reliability. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + NATE Certification or equivalent. + Experience with smart thermostats and home automation systems. + Familiarity with ductless mini-split systems. + Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a direct hire into the company with comprehensive health benefits, a company vehicle, opportunities to earn commissions, a 401k plan, and paid time off. You will be part of an on-call schedule shared with the team, working in and around residential homes throughout the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
