Job Overview

Abacus Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee our logistics operations. This is a contract position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient transportation management, and leading a team to meet operational goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations, including dispatching and transportation management.
• Coordinate demand planning activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Manage inventory levels through effective picking and packing processes.
• Utilize AS400 and other transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize logistics performance.
• Lead and train a team of logistics staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all logistics activities.
• Collaborate with e-commerce teams to streamline order fulfillment processes.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and AS400 software.
• Strong understanding of demand planning and dispatching processes.
• Experience with forklift operation is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus

Payrate- $29.50/HR

Shift- Monday to Friday 6PM-6AM, subject to change
