Pharmacy Assistant – Fulfillment Team

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay range: $18.00–$18.50/hour
• Hours: Rotating weekly schedule — Week A: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–6:00pm; Week B: Tues–Sat, 9:00am–6:00pm (Saturday TBD)
• Employment type: W2, Full-time
• Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports the operations of the Biologics by McKesson fulfillment site by preparing, packaging, and shipping specialty medications. The Pharmacy Assistant ensures timely and accurate order processing while maintaining cleanliness and compliance in a regulated environment. Success is defined by dependability, attention to detail, and seamless collaboration with pharmacy staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and package prescription medications and supplies following checklists and shipping protocols
• Review manifests and coordinate order delivery logistics with pharmacy team
• Reconcile packing slips and carrier invoices; compile weekly shipping usage reports
• Maintain a clean, organized packing and storage area; restock supplies and prepare workspace for next shift
• Secure pharmacy and packing areas at end of day; dispose of waste and materials per procedures
• Lift and move packages weighing up to 25 pounds; work on feet for majority of shift
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (lift up to 25 lbs)
• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
• Strong communication skills; reliable, self-directed work ethic

• Inventory tracking platforms (training provided)
• Internal order management systems (training provided)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in a mail-order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with shipping and logistics software
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities
