About the Role:
As a Recovery Home Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents have a positive and supportive living experience. You'll work closely with the Recovery Program Manager to oversee the operations of our recovery homes, creating a safe, comfortable, and drug- and alcohol-free environment. You'll also provide essential support to residents as they work towards their personal recovery goals.
What You'll Do:
Home Environment Support: Assist in overseeing the operations of the recovery homes, ensuring the facilities are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to recovery.
Intake & Discharge Support: Actively participate in resident intake, discharge, and care plan development.
Resident Support & Guidance: Ensure residents adhere to program requirements, track their progress, and foster a supportive community within the homes.
Safety & Wellness: Assist with room checks and administer drug screens as directed to maintain a drug- and alcohol-free environment.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the recovery team, document resident outcomes, and participate in training and team development meetings.
Remote Support: Provide daily presence in recovery homes with no assigned staff via remote services, as assigned.
Resident Assistance: Assist residents in obtaining food.
Reporting & Compliance: Assist in completing reports for grants, funding sources, and referral agencies.
Community Partnership: Work closely with community partners and referral agencies to promote high-quality services.
Facility Maintenance: Inform the Recovery Program Manager, CEO, and Maintenance staff of any needed repairs or updates to the facilities.
What You'll Bring:
Two to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
An understanding of recovery and recovery-based programming related to chemical dependency is a plus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret correspondence from referral sources and service providers.
Ability to correspond professionally with external agencies.
Ability to accurately document client outcomes and daily activities.
Effective communication skills with the Site Manager, Community Housing Director, and staff.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to program operations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret technical instructions.
Current driver's license.
Other certifications/licenses that may become necessary to perform the job duties.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk and hear regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Ability to climb and descend stairs.
Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
Awareness of proper food preparation and storage, safety and health issues, and insect prevention and intervention.
Potential exposure to electrical shock, communicable diseases, and insects.
May be required to transport residents to community services or activities.
