Edge Media DC provides video production services to businesses, non-profits, and government agencies within the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. Our service categories include content creation, live & virtual event production, and tech staffing for venues and government agencies with an ongoing need for broadcast media support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute video shoots, ensuring high-quality footage and effective storytelling.
  • Operate professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices, to capture dynamic visuals and clear audio.
  • Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard editing software, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in videography, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to our projects.
  • Manage video production schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
  • Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new video concepts and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.
  • Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.
  • Advanced skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Strong understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, lighting, and camera movement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film production, digital media, or a related field.
