Location: Remote

Duration: Long-term contract

Key Skills:

COBOL Vantage mainframe programming
Annuity processing experience
Debugging and optimizing legacy mainframe applications
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Qualifications

4+ years of Vantage / WMA.
4+ years with Cobol, JCL, Db2
Experience with Vantage one /WMA Annuities

Responsibilities

Experience working UL/ TRAD/ Annuities wmA (Wealth Management Advisor, Vantage-One which are large Life and Annuity Insurance Policy Administrative Systems.
Essential Job Functions Modifications of Annuities
5+ years of Vantage / WMA experience.
5+ years with Cobol, JCL, Db2
Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
Assists in coordinating business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provides support to other team members.
Assists in analyzing testing results in all phases.
Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
Ability to build out a plan from scratch using PW tables within Product Wizard,
Understanding of indexed products, system migrations, and conversions
Consult in all phases of business process implementations from scope analysis to post-implementation evaluation using both Agile and Waterfall approaches.
Assist with change management, user training, and technical support for project teams.
Participate in the process of defining, documenting, and analyzing customer requirements, business processes and procedures.
Identify, research, and engage others in the research and resolution of complex customer and product implementation problems.
Assists with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred
Experience working with the technology industry
