It’s a brisk environment—sometimes as low as -15°F—where precision is everything. You’ll build and rebuild pallets, pick and assemble orders, and load or unload freight. You’ll verify counts, watch for damage or infestation, and follow both OSHA and company safety procedures. Security, cleanliness, and organization are part of your daily routine. When inventory counts come up, you dive in. If labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking is needed, you handle it. And when something outside your usual duties pops up, you’re flexible and step in.

What It Takes to Succeed

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Independent, detail-focused worker who meets deadlines
• Open to varied schedules, including weekends and early mornings
• Available for overtime, evenings, or weekends as directed and authorized for workload or meetings
• Comfort using a computer to support daily tasks (tools and technology required: computer)

Physical Realities of the Job

• Navigating spaces with 55 inches of headroom
• Working inside controlled temperatures down to -15 degrees Fahrenheit and outside in heat, cold, or precipitation
• Operating at heights up to 30 ft., accessing product from a safety cage
• Standing for extended periods—up to 5 hours in an 8-hour shift—especially when rebuilding pallets
• Lifting and moving: up to 55 lbs. from ground level to 80 inches; up to 70 lbs. to 50 inches; carrying items 6 ft. without mechanical assistance

Core Responsibilities You’ll Own

• Manual loading/unloading of freight in cold storage and other assigned locations
• Accurate stacking and storage of merchandise in proper areas
• Picking and assembling merchandise for shipment
• Checking or counting freight for accuracy and identifying damage/infestation
• Helping maintain facility security
• Conducting work in a safety-forward manner; complying with OSHA and company procedures
• Assisting with physical inventories as needed
• Labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking tasks
• Keeping a clean, neat, orderly work environment
• Performing other duties as assigned
